Eyes are the primary sources of vision that enable us to see, observe and enjoy the world around us. The internal structure of eye is complex with various nerves, blood vessels, tissues, etc. The major components of eye’s structure include cornea, retina, lens, vitreous humor, aqueous humor, etc. Any disturbance in the functionality of these structure leads to visual impairment, either temporary or permanent. Cornea is a dome-shaped anterior layer of eye, which helps to focus light and maintain visual quality.

Diabetic retinopathy, also referred to as Diabetic eye disease is a clinical, progressive, degenerative, vision-threatening ophthalmological condition where the small blood vessels and neurons in retina get affected and finally the situation becomes so adverse that retina damages. Means, it has become one of the prominent or predominant reasons for making the life dark to people, by causing permanent blindness.

Nature since its evolution has been undergoing several changes and human being too simultaneously. A lot of hit backs were faced by the human kind, which made us the most distinguished creature in this universe. The impact of Covid 19 does not make great difference in this regard. The word NEW NORMAL has become quite natural since a couple of years, wherein a tiny virus has proven its existence by spreading exponentially across the globe. The pandemic we are facing due to the onset and rapid spread of Covid 19 virus has paved a path for mutinous changes in the life style of people across the globe and we are not exceptional.
